PAYMENT TERMS

Article 1 — Object

These terms set out how payments made by couples (end clients) to vendors (professionals) are managed through the Mariages.io platform and its wallet system. By using the payment services, the professional unreservedly accepts these terms.

Article 2 — How the wallet works

1. The wallet is a technical account used to receive payments made by couples via Mariages.io.
2. The wallet is not a bank account in the legal sense. Funds are simply held temporarily before being transferred to the professional's bank account.
3. The professional can perform a cash-out (transfer to their declared bank account).

Article 3 — Transfer timelines

1. Fund transfers (cash-out) are processed by bank wire.
2. Receipt times depend exclusively on the banking timelines in the professional's country. Mariages.io has no control over and no responsibility for these timelines.
3. Mariages.io cannot be held liable for any delay, freeze or interbank incident.

Article 4 — Platform fees

1. Mariages.io collects a commission, whose amount or percentage is clearly indicated on the Pricing & Plans page, and which varies based on the professional's subscription type.
2. This commission only applies if the payment is processed through the platform.
3. No other hidden fees are applied by Mariages.io.

Article 5 — Refunds to end clients

1. Any refund requested by a couple regarding a service falls exclusively under the contractual relationship between the couple and the vendor.
2. Mariages.io does not intervene in commercial disputes related to the quality, delivery or cancellation of a service.
3. In case of a refund via the platform, any related fees are borne by the vendor.

Article 6 — VAT & taxes

1. Each professional is solely responsible for declaring and paying their taxes, duties and social contributions related to income received via Mariages.io.
2. Mariages.io neither collects nor remits VAT or any other tax on behalf of the professional.
3. The professional commits to complying with tax laws and being in good standing with the tax authorities of their country.
4. Mariages.io cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for a professional's failure to declare or pay tax.

Article 7 — Contractual commitment with couples

1. The professional commits to setting up a written contract with each couple specifying payment terms, cancellation, refund and service delivery terms.
2. Mariages.io cannot be held responsible for non-payment, unpaid invoices or disputes between the couple and the professional.
3. The absence of a clear contract between the couple and the professional falls solely under the professional's responsibility.

Article 8 — Limited liability

1. Mariages.io acts solely as a technical transaction platform.
2. Mariages.io is not party to the contract between the couple and the professional, and offers no guarantee regarding effective payment, the couples' solvency or the quality of the services provided.
3. Mariages.io's liability, should it ever be engaged, is limited to the amount of the commission collected on the relevant transaction.
